The Swam enters his 7th consecutive playoffs as the all time PFL winningest baller. For the first time in his 7 year stint Swammi failed to win at least 10 games, posting a 9-7 record and a #4 seed in the playoffs.

Rod Lucas has made the playoffs in both of his PFL seasons. Last year Lucas posted a 9-7 record, losing to Brooks in the division round of the playoffs

Keith Salley is in his rookie season in the PFL. Posting an 11-5 regular season record, Salley finished second in the Lombardi division behind James Brooks. That qualified Salley's Bills for the #3 seed in the AFC. Tavis Tucker is also in his rookie season in the PFL. Tucker posted a 7-9 record with the Pats, claiming the last seed in AFC playoffs. Tucker started out 7-4, but hit a late season skid where he lost 5 straight.
The two teams met earlier in the regular season with Salley winning easily 42-28.
