Shameful!
March
26, 2003
Let
me start by saying my performance on Sunday was horrendous. Yea,
I had a couple of bad breaks, but the way I played was awful.
How was the score 21-15 at the half, waiting on the opening kickoff
return, and then I lose 82-15?
The
reason was I played stupid. #1 I thought that I could always come
from behind, but against a baller like Tyrell, I know I can't
rely on that. #2 I had way too many turnovers (6). #3 I have to
stay patient on O and D. So now, going into the playoffs, I will
be the number 2 seed in our conference. Some of the other guys
in the league who were laughing and rooting for the 100, that
is cool. If it was one of you, I would do the same thing.
However,
Detroit Dell, I do not know how you can speak on the subject.
Last week, I made you stop gambling on the game, so you really
need to get your act together. Go to the Super Bowl one year,
and then I will give you a break. Now that I got the pressure
off of me, let's get to some of the other performances for the
week.
Swammi,
I talked you up, and then you did it to me again. How can you
play me, James, and Tyrell close, and then lose 4 straight. I
know you are a much better baller than that.
Wayne
Mr. Cardiac Kid, you are officially #4 in our league. Behind you,
we have Detroit Dell who only loss to Brooks, Wayne, and the lowly
Rams. Dell, you have been solid to date, but your confidence at
this point in the season is way above your actual playing status.
I
think we all should learn a valuable lesson from Leonard (Packers).
He came out like a bat out of h-ll, and now he is not even in
the top 10. My suggestion to everyone is, if you are a talker,
and you can back it up, then talk. However, if you are humble
and low key, please stay in your place. Don't be somebody you
really are not.
Next
in line are my two new guys Tavis and Salley. Tavis, your Patriots
are an up and down team. You really played a great game against
Swammi and his Dallas Cowboys. My only question is why can't you
stay consistent?
Mr.
Salley on the other hand, I believe you are really playing well.
You had two tremendous performances against me and Tyrell. Like
I have always said, keep it up.
In
closing, Steve, what happened. You had a chance to put Dell in
the dogggggggghouse, and you let him out. Before the game, you
were your usual self, and I thought you were going to put a foot
in Dell, but ...... All I know is you were missing in action.
One
shout out for Hines. I think that was his first shut out ever
in the PFL.
See
ya!!
Back
In Action
March
18, 2003
What's
up!! I am back in action with the rest of the PFL, and this week,
I'm not holding back.
To
start, I think Brooks and Tyrell are playing some great football.
They are head and shoulders above everyone else at this point
in the season. My game is straight, but there are a lot of negatives
with my team (Secondary-Linebackers). However, I do not believe
in excuses like my boy Dell, so I NEED TO PICK MY GAME UP.
The
beating Brooks put on Leonard (Packers) was ridiculous. The final
score was 49-0. Can we say "WOW".
Last
night, Swammi and I played a lovely game. He came back from Las
Vegas with a world of new blitzes. Swammi bottled me up all game,
and he should have won, but his offense is horrendous. Also, let
me add that the football angels were on my side. Luckily I got
to overtime with a beautiful 4th down conversion that I took to
the house, and then it was downhill for Swammi. On his first possession
in overtime, Swammi fumbled when I sacked him on his own 10, and
then I scooped it up and took it to DA house. Finally, I got a
break! Everyone knows that we will see Swammi later in the season.
He has some more time on his hands not being the commissioner
anymore, and I know he will get some tips from LOUUUUUUU!
With
some of the other guys in the league like Wayne, Steve, Dell,
and Rod, there games have all been up and down. I have renamed
Wayne to the Cardiac Kid. He is finding a way to win late, which
is a true sign of a former athlete. Now with Steve, he is extremely
intelligent when his ego is not involved. I know he is going to
sneak up on us late in the season. This new running attack is
serious, and a sign of his smarts. Officially, the chuck and f__k
man has changed.
Let's
move on to Detroit Dell and Rod. These two are really sporadic.
I know Rod hates losing, but he has accepted the fact that he
is going to try to sneak into the playoffs. I just hope Rod does
not think that he is the Bulls with Jordan, or the Lakers of present
because it is hard to turn it on and off. Detroit Dell on the
other hand is really sick with his game. He will play great against
someone like me or James, and then he will lose to someone like
Cook. You do the math. Last week Dell had all of these predictions,
and he went 0-2. If I was him, I would be very quiet for a while.
Furthermore,
some of the other guys in the league I would like to mention are
Teddy B, Salley and the Bills, Leonard and his Packers, and Womack.
Let's start with Teddy B. He has great games with everyone, and
he is always in the game, but he can't beat anyone who is considered
a challenge. Easily he is in the worst division in the PFL and
he struggles with their top three ballers which consist of Dell,
Teddy, and Wayne. If he can't beat those guys, what would he do
against the top ballers in my division (Me,Tyrell, and Leonard).
Next
is one of our leagues more intriguing ballers. Salley and his
Bills are interesting and a joy to watch because he has a tremendous
gameplan every week. I think he will go deep in the playoffs.
Remember Salley was the first player to really test Tyrell this
year. Keep your head up dogg, you will be all right Now for Leonard,
whose demeanor has really changed this year. He was really silent
last year, but now if you see him, you might think he was my clone.
Yea, Leonard is that loud and rude. He beat me once, and now he
thinks he is going to win a championship?
All
of you guys in the league know it is going to come down to me,
Tyrell, James, or Steve if his act comes around. Yea, I said it.
I know a lot of you do not want to hear the truth, but I am just
telling you what God loves.
In
ending, I want to take my hat off to Womack. Not only has he improved
from last year, but he is an actual threat in the game. I can
remember 2 years a ago putting my stick down and letting the computer
play him. Can we say coach of the year???????????????
I
am out. See ya next week!
Back
To Normal
March
7, 2003
Last
weekend we returned to the norm in the PFL. Your top three ballers
Tyrell, Brooks, and myself were doing there usual (Dominating).
Everyone was really focused last week, and all the games were
competitive. Yea, I know everyone saw Rod take a nasty foot, but
our games are usually closer than that. Rod has shown a tendency
to get in a slump during the year, so we will chalk that blowout
up.
In
other news, my game of the week was Tyrell against the brash talking
Leonard Pressley (Packers). Leonard was extremely confident against
Tyrell because he "UPSET " me last week. However, Leonard you
can't throw the ball up and hope for the best and think you are
going to win on a regular basis. Yea, I know you were talking
saying you stuck to your gameplan and beat me, but I will have
something for you next week. Deep down inside, you know someone
in this league (Probably me) will put up 60-70 on you. EVERYONE
NEEDS TO REMEMBER THAT I HAVE THE PEN AND PAPER. DON'T TALK TRASH
TO ME! IF YOU ARE A SCRUB, STAY IN A SCRUB'S PLACE!
Back
to real league news. Swam, I am impressed with your game right
now. You are bringing a lot of heat (Probably learned everything
from LOU), and your offense is getting better.
Teddy
B, I would rank you higher, but you have to beat someone that
impresses me in the league. The victory over Wayne does not count
because he always loses a big game. The only baller he can beat
consistently is Dell who is in my top ten. Wayne, I know you are
a good baller, but you always lose to someone that you should
beat (Hines). Yea
Hines game has improved tremendously, but ...
Keith
(Bills) keep up the good work, I see you are going to sneak up
on a lot of people. You and James had a competitive game last
week, and if you had some breaks, who knows.
Now
for Dell Barton. How can you beat Rod, who blew out Cook (Rams),
and then you get blown out by Cook? Maybe someone else can do
the math. Every year you have the same pattern. Win a big one,
lose a big one, lose another big one, lose another big one, and
then shock everyone, and win a big one. Whatever happened to CONSISTENCY!
To
close, I hope that I pissed everyone off as usual, but I am only
telling the truth! I will see Tyrell and Brooks later on in the
season but until then, see ya!!
PS.....
For
everyone who tried to stack our division which consist of Me,
Tyrell, Leonard, Hines (Who beat Wayne), and Jermaine, we will
have the championship trophy in our division as usual!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
February
Madness

What's
up!!!!
Once
again the PFL kicked off its season last week, and right off the
back, we had two upsets, and an almost.
To
start, I lost to Leonard and the Packers by 2, Rod (Jets) lost
to Dell and the Lions, and Tyrell went to overtime with the Swammi.
Throughout the day, there were many close games.
Drake
(Bucs) and the new guy Tavis (Patriots) had a barn burner, and
oh yea I forgot, WAYNE LOST TO HINES!! That is a rough one to
swallow, but this is what I was looking for in this league. Everyone
is getting better, therefore, hopefully it will make us better
at the next level. To add, I was sick when I lost to Leonard and
the Packers, but it was good for me.
I
do not know how Rod, Dell or myself played on Sunday after a week
of WARREN SAPP! Everytime that guy comes in town, he breaks my
routine. All of us probably picked up the game maybe once or twice
during the week. The Super Bowl Party we threw for him at Bermuda
Bar and Grill was off the chain. Every star you wanted to see
was in the house from Edgerrin James, Santana Moss, Duane Starks,
Bizzy Bone (Bone Thugs), etc..
I
will see all of you ballers at the Nationals party in July. You
know if the pro ballers are out, then that brings every woman
you want to see. Shhhhhh don't tell your wives.
That is why I give Dell a lot of credit because he beat Rod, and
I know Rod's game has improved from last year. He is going to
be one of the tougher ballers in the league. However, I hope he
stays in a funk for this week when we meet.
To
carry out my point about the ballers, you still have steady Brooks,
Swammi (Also called The UPSETTER), and Teddy consistent B. These
guys are going to give you exactly the same patterns throughout
the year. Brooks is going to be methodical, Swammi is going to
have patience like nobody else, and Teddy is going to throw the
rock.
Some
of the new guys will also represent and "Make the Playoffs." Salley
(Bills) and Jermaine (Giants) have a great shot. Lastly, I don't
really know who will have the best record at the end of the year
and have home field advantage throughout the playoffs like I normally
do, but remember the king is not dethroned until the last whistle.
I might actually have to get into the lab for once.
Tyrell
I will see you and Brooks soon, and Swammi, I will not sleep on
you this year. Out until Friday!!
P.S.
Good job this week Womack
Here
is a brief top my top 10.

2. Brooks
3. Collins
4. Barton
5. Lucas
